    Now, what were my results? Cedric and I tend to focus on heart rate training. Since my goal is to lower body fat and overall fat content, I have to maintain a specific level of effort to ensure my body reaches these goals. “Training in the negative” tends to be our banner message as in slow declines in reps for muscles to constantly be timed under tension. Regardless, when I first worked with Cedric, I weighed 255 pounds. I now weigh 230 pounds and have reduced my body fat by 15%.

    I have never felt better or more fit in my adult life. And it's not just how I look outside either. Internally, my cholesterol levels have all returned into normal ranges and my bloodwork has even impressed my doctor.

  • “Cedric is amazing! After surgery in 2011, I lost range of motion in my left knee. Due to my injury I couldn't sit cross legged, squat all the way down, or perform lunges without losing balance. My Doctor said if I wanted to do those things again then I would need a second surgery. However, within 3 months of training with Cedric, I was able to get my full range of motion back. Now I'm sitting in cross legged as I type this review.


    What I am impressed with the most is that I never told him about my issue, and he identified it. As a fighter, I was never comfortable with pointing out my limitations. People expect you to “tough it out” or assume you are being lazy. I'm not sure what made him passionate about injuries, but it's a blessing. Not every trainer knows how to modify and work with injuries, let alone build lost muscle back up. I completely lost my hamstring muscles, so squatting sucked more than for the average person.
